At Sharing Vintage Revivals, LLC in Eastlake, Ohio, old is not just new again—it’s better. Owners Sharon and Chris Sammon specialize in vintage, not necessarily antique, pieces. "Vintage is 20 to 99 years old, while antiques are 100+," explains Sharon, who loves revitalizing vintage furniture.

Retired from long careers at The Sherwin-Williams Co., Sharon and Chris turned their part-time passions into a full-time venture. Sharon taught at Ursuline College and painted furniture, while Chris, a longtime painter, joined in. In 2023, they opened Sharing Vintage Revivals to showcase their work.

They source pieces from wholesalers, Facebook Marketplace, the Cleveland Furniture Bank, house sales, and individual sellers. Sharon adds accessories like wall art and lamps to help customers envision the furniture in their homes.

“We’re seeing younger customers appreciate the quality and affordability of vintage furniture,” Sharon notes. With prices like $350 for a solid cherry dresser, it's easy to see why. They even take custom orders and consignment items.

Sharon and Chris love researching the history of each piece and sharing it with customers. “We want to find homes for these special pieces,” Sharon says. Unsold items are donated to local charities.
